In 2013 Universal-Acoustic device was installed on Gazprom Neft Shelf offshore ice-resistant stationary platform Prirazlomaya to control birds over its helipad.

Prirazlomnaya oil-producing platform is running in extreme climatic conditions beyond the Polar circle. Being the northmost in the world it is situated on a shelf in the Arctic Ocean, 60 km away from the shore and nearest inhabited locality Varandey.

The Prirazlomnaya platform appeared on postage stamp block released by Russian Post in 2015.
